I work on a project to promote sports and adventure you can find in Australia. Have – you felt rafting, scuba diving or other sports in Australia? How did you feel about them? I have not done one of sports you mentioned, but I have heard many people love to whitewater rafting. I will definitely do one day. And the jet boat is really fun! A friend Skydiving does and loves it … maybe one day I'll try, but not right away! Motorsports are big in Australia … is that counted? Something like Targa Tasmania is great to see there are all types of cars so it suits everyone. But you should encourage Downhill Mountain Biking! My husband did this, and unfortunately it is underestimated by many Australians – particularly the media. Australian riders (Sam Hill, Jared Graves, Chris Kovarik, Jared Rando, Nathan Rennie, just to name a few) are literally the best in the world. For example, Sam Hill has won numberous times in seconds – not 10th and the 100th of a second (which is what usually separates the runners up). I mean it's just awesome … and where is the gratitude? Except If you are involved in sport, you do not know. Such a waste. Even Jared Graves went to the Olympics as our BMX rider (and is technically a runner downhill!) He even won the heats cons BMX world. Yet we hear that people like Cadel Evans (which is great … Do not get me wrong – But he has not even won the Tour de France for the moment and he has so much media coverage.) Ok, I'll Get Off My soap box – but this is a large (extreme) sport that requires great skill and precision and, surprisingly, many Fittness – and it's great for spectators also – as weaving through trees and over jumps, etc. You should check into it. Have fun – I even gave him a go at the track from Thredbo … but I might just stick to the Cross Country … it is sooooo much easier, even if you have to climb up! For your records, I'm Emily and I'm 23 and Australian. (My husband – which would also promote the sport – is 25 and also very Australian!)
